Tuesday, March 31, 2009How many times have you seen someone (no matter he or she is famous, infamous or whatsoever) singing or performing live with a guitar hanging in front of his or her body, but the guitar isn't played by that person?For me, many, many times. Those people are what we called 'poser'. Sometimes, i wonder who started with this stupid move. For what you want to hang a not very light guitar (depending on which type of guitar you playing of course) onto you when you are not f***ing playing it? You think you look cool doing so? You need to look after the guitar so that you won't accidentally drop it and at the same time, you need to stay close and sing thru the microphone. Well, maybe that guitar of yours is very unique and you need to show off. If the answer is yes, me myself can still accept this reason. If not, why the hassle? Why don't you hold your balls instead? It will not drop even if you slipped your hands. Saw this idiot on TV who joined a reality show which makes you a millionaire if you are the winner doing that yesterday. And this idiot was singing a classic song by a famous metal band. What a disgrace. Saw another contestant who constantly acted like she put many feelings or soul whenever she is performing. Damn these idiots. Wednesday, March 25, 2009After days and nights of considering, i finally made up my mind that is, i am going to put a stop on my advanced diploma studies.The reason is because, in order to advance to the 2nd year of study (which starts this coming May/June) i will need to pass the papers which i failed in the previous 2 semesters. In my own opinion and my understanding of meself, i will definately can't get thru no matter what. Furthermore, even if i passed all the papers and manage to get to the 2nd year, i will definately dangle and fall more along the way. Though i feel abit sad for it, but i won't end my life by killing myself now. There is more in life than just studying. Of course, i will lose out many things in making this decision, friends, college mates, time, freedom, fun and more. For those who will continue their studies, i wish you the best of luck. Cheers!!! Nanyang Siang Pau removed its' sudoku section which is printed on the KL & Selangor Edition everyday.Though i am not really good at solving sudokus, but i find it nice, interesting and addictive. Friday, March 13, 2009Wanted to watch 'Watchmen' initially but because the movie was rated 18-PL which means my brother who is 14 years young might or might not get into the cinema therefore, we ended up watching 'Dragonball Evolution' instead.After watching the movie, things or rather weakness of the movie which i want to point out are: i) Master Roshi His turtle shell in this case which is not featured in the movie might be appropriate, but what about his famous sunglasses?? As far as i remember, he only puts on his sunglasses for a few scenes thru out the whole movie. Another thing, his shirt. If you are watching closely, the design on the shirt is actually crane which in the comic book, is a rival of Master Roshi. ii) Teleporting a.k.a. '瞬間轉移' which is a common skill in the comic isn't featured in the movie. iii) Goku His hair aren't spiky enough. No sign of his 'ride' in the comic, the cloud (don't know what it is called) and worst of all, no super saiyan too. iv) Bulma's gadgets The gadgets which she used in the movie are the motor, guns and DBE. vii) Piccolo Way too ugly and no feelers on his head. v) the run-time of the movie A dearly 80 minutes is way too short for a movie. But, what i know is that, one thing that is most featured in the movie is:  (cleavages :D :D) Monday, March 9, 2009Everytime i heard the word 'stimulus', i will somehow relate it to another quite similar word, 'stimulate' that is. According to dictionary, definition of stimulus is "something that causes growth or activity" whereas stimulate means "to encourage something to grow, develop or become active"Anyhow, the word stimulate sounds 'hornier' to me in anyway no matter how you put it. Why you ask? Well, because you can stimulate a sensitive part on your body and...... go figure out the end result yourself. Coming back to 'stimulus', our government will be announcing a stimulus package tomorrow to help our country in overcoming the economy downturn. As for how stimulus will the package be, no one knows yet. Hopefully, everyone single Malaysians will benefit from this package regardless of sex, race, religion, age, height, weight, profession, hobby...... in short, equality to all. Maybe, our government will be giving out pocket money to the people like what the Taiwanese government did earlier. Or, lowering all importing or exporting duties(by that, cheaper be@rbricks and cheaper, and nicer cars for all :D) Until then, keep your fingers crossed and wait for the announcement. Cheers!!! Sunday, March 1, 2009Went to a CD shop yesterday and found this DVD lying somewhere within the shop. (Oasis live at Wembley) Though i am quite a fan of Oasis, but in fact, this DVD is the first 'licensed' or should i say in a more Malaysian-friendly term, 'Ori' piece from them (don't ask me how i get their other songs please) Went to watch 'Valkyrie' with my brother after we left the shop. The movie was average. Liam is a great vocalist, but i wonder why he sings in such a tune every time the band performs. Nevertheless, he is still one of the leading icon in the world of 'rock n roll' and he got his own unique style. Many movies under my sleeve now but haven't got the time to watch them. :( |
