After 'serving' us for about 10 years, our clock has finally stopped operating.

(old clock)

Rest In Peace, dear clock!!!

(new clock)

The new clock we bought yesterday which cost RM9.90. I wonder how long it would last? Only time can tell.

Went to meet up with 2 of my former male classmates during diploma level at Cheras Leisure Mall last Wednesday evening. The reason for the meeting initially was to celebrate another former classmate's birthday but then he was busy that time therefore, the rest of us just meet up to catch up with one another.

We chat alot: about life, work, study, interest and last but not least a whole lot of craps. The cafe we went employed a few pretty girls there, i can't stop staring at them from time to time. I guess that applies to the rest as well. We stayed until 1.00am before leaving.

Today, went to look for the friend who can't make it on Wednesday. He was the first friend i made when i enter college. I still remember that he sat next to me during our first class that time and thats how we started to talk and to know each other. We first went for lunch at Sushi King, then accompany him to buy a ring for his girlfriend.

Before leaving, went to watch "Painted Skin". But then was somehow disappointed with the movie. Firstly, the movie was dubbed into cantonese instead of chinese (the trailer shown on local TV was in chinese) which also means Zhou Xun's unique voice will not be heard thru out the movie. FYI, i found her voice attractive or rather sexy. Secondly, the editing of the movie is abit weird, camera switches on odd timing. Thirdly, the story of the movie (i believe the original story from the chinese tale is very interesting, but when put into a movie, the script wasn't able to project the story) Lastly, the music in the movie.

Enough of complaining, if you still thinking of watching it, do watch the chinese version, it won't be this bad. As for the cantonese version, you can just forget it and save your money.

Sorry my friend and cousin, Sean for dragging you 2 along for the movie.

Just arrived this afternoon:

(the parcel from UK)

(custom seal and declaration)

(the NME magazine)

(the companion CD)

I wonder why magazines in UK are much cheaper, only 2.20 pound sterling. That is of course if you don't convert it into RM (even the shipping cost for the magazine i ordered costs more than the magazine itself) Perhaps, the UK publishers are charity organizations?

Here, even a daily newspaper costs around RM1.50, needless to say magazines.

Good new: Nelly Furtado will be starring in the coming Max Payne movie, nice!!!

Bad new: The ugly Lucy Liu will be featured in the 2nd season of 'Dirty Sexy Money', damn!!! don't pollute/corrupt the movie please

Last Sunday morning, went to Mid Valley with my father and brother to buy a cooker for his tenant. Everything went quite well until when we're about to leave, lost the parking ticket. I used to keep all the parking ticket in my pant's left back pocket and i did the same thing that day however, i lost it.

Because there isn't any other way out, decided to pay the fine of RM50.00 for the loss of ticket.

The next minute after the fine was paid, my brother found the ticket under the driver's seat. So, i rushed back to the pay station, but then the personnel told me that i have to claim the refund from the car park office on tomorrow, because the office is closed on Sundays. In the end, we went home.

I guess the reason why i couldn't find the ticket earlier is because i was panic and shock at that moment. But in the end, luckily it dropped in the car and not anywhere else.

(the 'lost' but 'found' ticket together with the report form)

Yesterday, went to MV again to claim the fine. After claiming, went for a movie alone. How sad. :'( :'(

Bought this DVD yesterday.

(Avril Lavigne 'The Best Damn Tour Live in Toronto' DVD)

There are a few reasons why i bought the DVD:
i) i missed her KL show(which was held on 29th August '08)
ii) i wasn't able to 'get' it on the internet
iii) the price of the DVD isn't too expensive

The new recipe from KFC for the 'fasting' month.

(more crunchier and spicier, nice!!!)

Our country's hottest MP will be appearing on Latte@8 tonight. Be sure to catch it!!!

First, a Sony Playstation 3
Because there is promotion on the launch of the console this coming Saturday.

Second, a Gibson Thunderbird
Don't know why, suddenly feel that this bass looks really cool and unique.

As wished by KM.

Thank you anyway.

KM didn't really tagged me, just that feel like posting myself.

So, here goes my top 5 most played songs:

i) Creed - With Arms Wide Open
Heard this song on the radio one day and i quickly fall-in love with this song once again (used to love this song long time ago, then never heard of it anymore for quite sometime until the radio played it the other day)

ii) Firehouse - I Live My Life For You
I personally think that this is a great song and i won't get bored listening to it. Been listening to it on the radio everytime i get into the car. I finally added it into the playlist after finding out its' name and artiste (before that, only know how to sing the chorus part everytime it is being played on the radio)

iii) No Doubt - Don't Speak
Probably the best song from the band

iv) Get To Me - Train
You probably don't know who Train is, but do you know the band who sang 'Drops of Jupiter'? This is another decent song from the band but it is less-known.

v) Always - Jon Bon Jovi
Of course this is 1 of the top 5 most played song, because the name also called 'Always', of course always being played in the playlist.

This is the 101th rubbish and crap posting of mine!!! :D

Asshole, I (or we) hold a MxKad too, and ours are the same as yours. So what makes you think that we are visitors here or even the right to call us that?

Let me remind you again, your so-called ancestors weren't even born here as well. To be exact, he came from Srivijaya. History said that he came here with a view of exploring new territories, but who knows what exactly happened that time? He may even be a refugee. Rewriting, amending or beautifying history is possible. The truth somehow may not be the truth anymore, especially in such a complicated world as it is now. Sometimes, we might even get ourselves into trouble if we tell the truth loud enough.

Those who really 'owns' this country are those natives or minority races who live in the east island.

Peace and unity wouldn't come no matter how loud the leaders shout 'keamanan' and 'keharmonian' alone and at the same time, their follower makes sensitive statement or statement which contradict with what their leader said.

Hopeless.

Deception, a new movie which is currently showing in cinemas.

(Deception)

The cast includes, Hugh Jackman or better known as 'Volverine', Ewan Mcgregor who is also known as 'Obi-Wan-Kenobi' (according to my cousin) and also Michelle Williams (heard her name before, but not sure of what movie she was in before)

Not to forget, it also stars asia's very own Maggie Q, who eventually appear in the movie wearing a lingirie for about 5 minutes and end of story.

The movie is basically about how a guy frame another guy up and blackmail him to commit a fraud and in the end of course, it backfires.

I personally think that it is a nice movie, do catch it if you have the time.

Soon, these mooncakes will be flying over to east Malaysia to look for a miserable guy who goes by the name Kah Ming.

(clockwise from top right: pure lotus double yolk, no sugar added white lotus, raspberry cheese and pearl of harmony)

I wonder if after eating the 'pearl of harmony', people will love peace and those around them more? KM, let me know after you tried it.

And because i wanted another 'raspberry cheese' and there is only 1 left in the bakery, the staff was so kind that she apologize to me and give me a 20% discount on all the mooncakes.

Don't ask me how they taste, because i haven't tried any one of them and yet KM get to taste them before me. :'(

(quite a decent box)

(remind you of something?)

(Beijing National Aquatics Center aka 'Water Cube')

What a simple design, but yet it is so special and attractive. In this case, i think the Chinese does what most of us do most of the time, 'Think Inside of The Box' instead of 'Think Outside of The Box'. Lesson learn here: don't always be creative, play dumb pays off sometime. :D

Saw this drawing in my cousin's room the other day:

( family tree)

(me and my siblings in the drawing)

When was the last time you draw a family tree? Do you know everyone's name in your family? And how well do you know the members in your family?

I guess as we grow older, the gap between us and our family members get bigger too.

Specially for EX (probably the biggest Spongebob fan i know) and also CX (who is also quite a Spongebob-maniac)

(Spongebob ice-cream cake)
