Saturday, August 30, 2008In my opinion, the announcement made yesterday is less appropriate. This is how it should be: i) further increase the tax imposed on cigarettes and tobacco (this is to overcome the problem of rapidly growing amount of smokers in the country, for those smoker who knows me, please don't kill me) ii) revise or increase the rebate of infants on personal tax (with just a rebate of RM1,000 per year, how much it can help? RM1,000 divided by 365 days = RM2.73 per day? nasi ayam also cost more than that furthermore, who would only eat once a day?? not even me :D) iii) instead of giving free electricity supply to those whose monthly consumption is below RM20, imply a 20% or lower rebate for every user (electricity charges of RM20??? even a studio apartment also uses more than that i guess) iv) instead of giving a month bonus to the civil servants, use the money on other so-called 'developments' (even though we may or may not benefit from these 'developments', it is better to give the money to those lazy-asses whose already enjoying so much subsidizes, incentives and privileges and whose working attitude is so bad) v) instead of investing on building luxury or 5-stars hotels in east Malaysia, build more hospitals over the country or even better, schools vi) instead of reducing the road-tax for buses and taxis by merely RM20, give more subsidizes on their petrol, diesel or even natural gas (quarter tank of petrol also cost more than RM20 now) If only i have the power to do so. Maybe in the near future, we might enjoy these benefits (the near future i mean may be 100 years from now, so start counting down now :D) Friday, August 29, 2008C902 is not any robots or mathematical term.It is: (the new model from Sony Ericsson, C902) (5.0 mega pixels) (camera lens) (fierce or not? even have racing stripes on the side) (those blue-lights are touch screen buttons, but for camera functions only) The series number is a bit odd because SE's models usually end with 0. As we all know, K series is the camera phone series(which cameras are better than the other series) W series is the walkman phone series(which has a better sound quality) and Z series which is more of design/stylish series but, C series??? What does it mean? Perhaps, SE only realized that C is for camera and K is for 'kamera' recently and they are amending it now? The true spirit of Malaysian: (all rushing to cross the T junction which traffic light is down, keep it up!!!) Tuesday, August 26, 2008Once again, mooncake festival is around the corner.(Tiramisu mooncake) Although it is the same flavored mooncake from the same bakery as my first post, the taste isn't the same anymore. It taste like flour added with lots of sugar this time. Value buy : (1 for RM7.90, 2 for RM9.98) Saturday, August 23, 2008Last Tuesday, went to Mid Valley for a movie called 'Sparrow' with my brother and cousin. The review of this movie given by a newspaper hasn't that good therefore, i didn't walk into the cinema with a high expectation. In the end, it turned out to be a decent movie though(not as bad as what the review says)After the movie, went over to MPH bookstore and before leaving, i saw this book and bought it straightly(not sure if it is nice, but it is surely cheap :D) (Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, i guess it will take me 3 years time to finish it) And during my afternoon class yesterday, i felt a minor pain on my my right eye. (notice my bloated right eye? hopefully, i won't go blind because of that) Friday, August 15, 2008Our only remaining hope in the badminton never disappoint us. He manage to get thru the semi-final earlier this evening and with only one match to go, he will at least bring home a silver medal or even a gold medal if luck is on his side. Only time can tell for now.Why do you have to protest in all sorts of way? If you think that allocating 10% of the total student places for non-indigenous students will affect your rights and you need to protest so that everyone else knows how you feel, then it is fair enough. But, what about the pig farms issue which arise quite some time ago? What on earth does it have to do with you? You're from the same species. Assholes!! Wednesday, August 13, 2008Finally, photos of half of my 'new' class.('formal') (less 'formal') (least 'formal') Sunday, August 10, 2008The opening ceremony for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games last Friday was really good. Too bad our local so-called 'Olympic Channel' didn't broadcast the whole ceremony. However, still a big round of applause for those who are involved in the ceremony(those Chinese in China i mean)As for now, China is leading in the medals board with 6 gold medals and 2 silver medals. As for our dearest country, we suffered yet another lost in the badminton segment earlier today. For your information, badminton is once a sport which is dominated by our country some time ago. Well, as the word goes 'all good thing comes to an end' and therefore, it is understandable why they lost the match today. Hopefully, our national team will not come back 'empty-handed'. Thursday, August 7, 2008Massive jam on my way back from campus this evening. It took me nearly 30 minutes just to move 1km in the jam. However, something entertained me during the jam.(a Bentley, not that 1 who sells Fender's in KL) (the wheels are so big, "of course lah, can't you see? B for big") It is not a nice looking car in the market, but it is definitely rare to be seen on the road in KL. Friday, August 1, 2008Just about a month or two ago, the global price for petrol kept raising and raising like there's no tomorrow and all of a sudden, the price of petrol dropped to the lowest point ever(for now yet, future don't know) As a reasonable man, don't you think it is abit illogic? Or perhaps, 'he' who own the sky suddenly dropped an ocean filled with petrol which causes the supply to be more than the demand and indirectly causes the price of the petrol to fall?In my opinion, there must be some bastards who intentionally did that with a view of screwing up the market for petrol. Because of the price hike, government of most of the countries in the world take this opportunity to cut down their subsidies on petrol. Domino effects of the cut on subsidies is so great that it can't be put into words. Therefore, for the asshole who came up with this idea, go screw yourself. By the way, just finished my english presentation this afternoon. Nice!!! :D :D |
